  • As a double amputee that defended my country for 20 years I was in need of many benefits that I had been denied for at least 5 times. With the help of Heroes United I now have a furnished home, food to eat, a motorized scooter, transportation to regular Dr visits and friends that I call family at Veterans Station.

  • I thank God every day for this second chance and for the great team at Heroes United. I will forever be grateful for my forever home and I finally feel appreciated for my service.

    Lawrence Dukes (Vietnam)
  • As a young woman who is able to work part-time, Miss Wendy said "Let's get you in a home and give you a hand up!". Never once did she treat me like I was less than because I had been homeless. I am now amongst friends and I know I am home....Finally.
